--------------------Language Based/Multi-Sensory Based Program--------------------

What should you know?

Research suggests, meaningful family engagement in children’s early learning supports school readiness and later academic success (National Institute for Early Education Research, 2012; National Institute for Early Education Research, 2007).  Parental involvement is a critical element of high-quality early care, education and public school readiness. It helps to promote carryover of skills and therapeutic techniques into the home environment.  When young children, attempting to meet developmental milestones are in an environment that supports their specific learning styles, language, and sensory needs, provides high-quality educational/ therapeutic services, and facilitates parental training, children will experience growth.

In a nutshell.....

Children who typically participate in Rights Steps, LLC special half-day program show delay(s) in the area of speech language, fine motor, gross motor, social, and/or feeding.  Children participating in this program participate in a small group, school-like settings, in which important skills are targeted daily (feeding, desired/undesired behaviors, fine motor skills, sensory delays, communication, and gross motor skills.)  A skilled and licensed therapist monitors program plans. “Classroom” progress is reported by the team and is available daily.

Children within the program who qualify for any of our therapeutic services can receive their individualized services during their time in our half day program.
